Sales grew modestly in August. The head wind continues to be mortgage rates still in the 7% range. There is the possibility of another FED rate hike later this fall. I have lived in Austin Texas for nearly 20 years. My wife is a rare native Austinite and we have raised our two teenage sons here. I became interested in real estate as an investor and realized I enjoy all aspects of a deal from researching markets, to analyzing deals, to negotiating sales.
